DJI Osmo Pocket 4P – Windows Wireless File Transfer

I bought a DJI Osmo Pocket 4P and wanted to use the built-in WiFi 6 filetransfer capabilities to send my recording to my Windows PC. Turns out, you can only send it to the phone app and there is no Windows functionality available.

Utterly useless and unforgivable in 2026. Luckily, some smart people have decoded most of the protocol DJI uses with their own (locked down, you need an account) phone app and one afternoon later I present to you a simple windows application that will transfer all files from your DJI Osmo onto your desktop, no phone, account or wires involved!

GuideIR E2+ WiFi issues (fixed!)

I bought a GuideIR E2+ right when it was released in November 2024, next to seeming to be a nice IR camera one of the main features I was interested in was the WiFi streaming feature it offered. Fan choices and decoupling

Fan choices and decoupling

If noise is of importance the PC fan you choose can make a big difference. Choosing a higher quality fan is much more about noise then it is how effective it is at removing heat! A cheap fan can also remove a lot of heat but a high-quality one can do it without making a lot of extra noise.

For this build I have actually deviated from my all-time favorite Noctua for the CPU cooler! But why do I always go for Noctua?
